"Why We Fight"

Episode Nine was a really emotional episode. You are with Lewis Nixon and his problem with alcohol. At this time in history most of the fighting was over for Easy and life had become normal again. Nixon has had an alcohol problem seen the first episode but now it really strikes out and he dose some crazy things to get it. For the rest of the men they stumbled upon a concentration camp well on patrol. And this has a real strong effect on the men. Even when they aren’t on the front they still see the horrors of war. And that seen really makes you think of what it was like to be a prisoner in one of those concentration camps. I think the thing that really got to me was that the German shot as many as they could and when they ran out of ammunition they burned the huts with people still inside them. I could not image what it would have been like to find this. I thought that this was a very informative episode and really went in to the story of those camps.
