"Day of Days"

In this episode the characters see their first combat where they jump in to Normandy France on June 6 1944. This episode continues right where the last on left of where the men are in the c-47 leaving the airbase ready to jump in to combat. For the majority of this episode you follow major winters, at that time he was 1st Lt. Winters, through the fight. As like most of of the series this is pretty historically accurate. This is really where you see what a good commander Winters will be. In this episode the legend of speirs is also introduced. I really like this episode because it really is the first combat that the men see and it is where they have to prove themself as a good fighter. also in this episode Winters and a small group of Easy company take over an enemy position and what they did later went down as a perfect why to attack a fortified position and it is still used today. I do like more episodes more than this one but this still is one of my favorite.
